- George: How do I get something out of ‘Print Pending’?
- Me: Select it and delete it.
- George: But I want it to print.
- Me: And you’re connected to the printer?
- George: Yeah.
- Me: Hmmm, let me see.
- I walk over to the bedroom, where we keep the printer.
- Me: Let me see the computer.
- George: (Hands over laptop)
- Me: The printer USB cable is plugged in to the ethernet port.
- George: No wonder it wasn’t printing. Can you imagine what I’ll be like when I get old? “Hey kids, how do you work this tape recorder thing?”
- Me: Tape recorder? You’re kidding me, right?
